WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP?

Help us spread the word about TFK events!  Community Outreach volunteers greet supporters at super fun fundraisers and tabling events at farmers markets and other venues; they distribute flyers and spread the word about our mission and upcoming rides.  Volunteers can work as many or few hours as they choose.  This is a fun way to connect with new friends and meet people in our community and is a vital part of Trips for Kids Sacramento.

If you have an interest in or experience with using graphic design to create clear, well-designed communications such as newsletters, flyers, and web based presentations, we'd like to hear from you. Experience with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) are a plus.  Volunteers can work as many or few hours as they choose.  Help us reach out to all kids about TFK Sac!

Our volunteer coordinator will be someone who is enthusiastic about our mission of introducing kids to bicycling in nature.  Do you have excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively?  If so, we could use your help coordinating the tasks and duties of volunteers as we grow and develop our organization.  We would love to hear from you!

Our Board is in need of a Treasurer to organize financial transactions and to periodically update the Board on the financial status of our nonprofit.  ​​

You can make a difference in the lives of kids by helping us secure public and private grants which provide financial support for our mission. We are looking for applicants to identify grant opportunities and to write grant proposals.  This position offers valuable experience in securing private and public funding. You'll be coordinating with TFK Sac staff to develop goals,  schedules, and outcomes. Strong professional writing and organizational skills are needed as well as commitment to the duration of the project.
